Onam is a hindu festival from the southern state of Kerala also known as ‘God’s own country’. The festival is celebrated to commemorate the mythical King Mahabali. It also marks the end of the monsoon, and welcomes the new harvest season.
This Onam, Daana welcomes you to enjoy an exquisite ‘Sadhya’, a traditional multi-course vegetarian meal served on a banana leaf featuring over 35 dishes.
As you walk in, you will be captured by the irresistible aroma of mustard seeds, tamarind, spices and jaggery. As you sit for the food, you will be served food on a banana leaf, which is rich in antibacterial properties, vitamin A, calcium, and carotene. As you start to eat, your taste buds will light up with the different flavours of savoury, sour, sweet and spicy dishes.
Join us for an Indian feast like no other and experience the joy of Daana‘s Sadhya at our iconic venue The Abbey.
