At Karma Kitchen there is no ‘price-tag’ for our special 3-course Chef’s Menu that is served with love by volunteers, so guests show their support through ‘Pay-it-Forward’ and ‘pay-as-they-wish’ towards the cause.
Fifty percent of the funds raised at Karma Kitchen @ Daana is donated to the cause or charity being supported.
Since 2016, with your generous support we have raised funds for the following organisations: [email protected], Curtin Primary School, RSPCA ACT, Hartley Lifecare, The Mill House Social Enterprise Accelerator, Global Sisters – White Nile Women, Rotary Club of Woden Daybreak– Mercy Ships Australia, Gordon Community Centre, TEARS Australia, Kulture Break, Team Kris & Alan Ride for Compassion , Earth Saviours Foundation & Notun Jibon , and Girls Rock! Canberra.
Karma Kitchen @ Daana is a community experience. Beyond enjoying a good meal and supporting the cause, we invite volunteers to join in to help at the event – cooking, serving, singing, or any other way that you think you can help!

Pets in the Park is a National Charity focused on the veterinary health and welfare of companion animals and wellbeing of their owners together while experiencing homelessness.
For those members of our community who are experiencing homelessness, it is not by choice. Homlessness represents some of the most marginalised and socially isolated members of our own community and can result in a difficult and excluded life.
Although pet ownership greatly enriches the quality of life for those who are experiencing homelessness, it also has a financial cost that may be difficult to meet, and at times result in forfeiture of personal welfare by the owners to ensure the health of their companions.
To address this, Pets in the Park are providing free access to preventative health care programs that help people experiencing homelessness care for their pets and supporting the wellbeing of homeless people in society living with animal companions.
Pets In The Park Canberra runs free compainion pet health clinics on a monthly basis. At these clinics volunteers provide health checks, vaccinations, flea treatment, worming treatment and basic medication for pets owned by people experiencing homelessness
Funds raised at Karma Kitchen @ Daana will be used towards funding the costs associated with these clinics.
